ALEX
The Alabama Learning Exchange is a wonderful website. ALEX puts many resources right at the teacher’s finger tips. Every aspect of the learning experience is covered not just reading, writing, and arithmetic. Physical education is addressed as well as character and drivers education.
The course of study is spelled out on ALEX. The different criteria are identified by the frequency it appears on standardized tests and the achievement. Those notations are very important because our students and teachers are judged by standardized test scores.
I look forward to using ALEX in my classroom. Majoring in elementary education, ALEX will help me with everything from lesson plans to professional development. The power points are exceptional and they offer great information. I will definitely use the curriculum guide in my classroom.
I am optimistic about using ALEX in my own classroom. I want all of the help I can get in order to be the best teacher I can be for my students. I will also use the personal workspace to save my lesson plans and other important information about my classes.
